The former Formula 1 driver Erik Comas will return to the Rally Moritz Costa Brava with his Lancia Stratos HF Gr. 4 to participate in the Speed category, which already has a large number of pre-registrations.

The French driver has walked a long path in the motorports sector, where more than 60 races in Formula 1 define his successful career. In 1992, Comas finished achieved the fifth position in the French Grand Prix and two sixth positions in Canada and Germany, leading him finish 11th in the Formula 1 championship. Along his career, a 2nd position in the 24h of Le Mans in 2005, alongside Emmanuel Collard and Jean -Christophe Boullion, is worth being remarked. Comas took part in this competition with different teams such as Porsche or Nissan. In addition to the 64 Rally Costa Brava, in the present season 2016, the French driver has participated in tests such as the Tour de Corse Historique, Sanremo Rally Storico and Rallye Elba Storico. Besides his professional career as a driver, Erik created Comas Racing Management (CRM), a foundation dedicated to training and assisting new drivers in France.
