The 71 Rally Motul Costa Brava has already a date. It will be from 16th to 19th March 2023* when Girona will host a new edition of the oldest rally in Spain, and one of the most prestigious in Europe.
The rally will score for the European, Spanish and Catalan Historic Rally Championships, as well as including the Legend category for vehicles of special interest. As is tradition, the Costa Brava will be the starting point for the season of the great historic rallies in Europe.
The 71 Rally Motul Costa Brava will mark the second edition of Motul as Title sponsor of the rally. Motul, the brand specializing in the formulation of lubricants, thus reaffirms its commitment to the world of classic motorsports.
During the upcoming weeks and months, the first details of the 71 Motul Costa Brava Rally will be revealed.
Official poster with a double tribute
The official poster of the 71 Rally Motul Costa Brava remains faithful to the tradition of recent years and serves as a tribute to the winners of the event forty years ago. In this edition, „Miki“ Biasion and Tiziano Siviero are the stars of the poster alongside the Lancia Rally 037 of the Jolly Club with which they took victory in the 1983 Rally Costa Brava.
The chosen image is the work of Joan Aymamí, one of the great motorsports photographers in our country, who passed away at the beginning of the year, and serves as a tribute to his figure and his immense photographic legacy. In addition, the poster also allows to remember Tiziano Siviero, who suffered a serious traffic accident just a few days ago.
