The 69 Rally Costa Brava has been postponed to 19th and 20th November to guarantee its celebration with maximum safety and normality

  • Due to the uncertain evolution of the pandemic, it has been decided to postpone the rally, that will now be held on the FIA calendar reserved date. This decision has been commonly agreed between the organization and the authorities.
  • The 69 Rally Costa Brava will now be the closing date of the FIA Championship.
  • The more than 250 pre-registered teams will keep their registration for the new date.

Due to the current situation of the pandemic and the restrictions that are expected to remain in force in the coming months, the organization and the authorities involved have decided to postpone the 69 Rally Costa Brava, initially scheduled for 12th and 13th March and that will finally be held on 19th and 20th November 2021.

The 69 Rally Costa Brava has generated a great deal of excitement and interest so far, a clear demonstration of the desire to rally again after an atypical 2020. The decision to accept the recommendation given by the authorities to postpone the rally to autumn has ben taken in order to guarantee the motoring community an exceptional rally. The change of dates should enable a rally with much more security and normality than at the present time.

In addition, with record pre-registrations of more than 250 teams and more than 20 different nationalities, the organization wants to ensure that participants can attend the event without mobility restrictions. All pre-registered teams will keep their place for the new date.

The 69 Costa Brava Rally will become the last event of the year for the FIA ​​European Historic Rally Championship, the Spanish and the Catalan Championships.

We hope that the teams understand the decision and that this allows us to meet all in Girona and Santa Coloma de Farners on 19th and 20th November to enjoy the rally we all deserve.
